Police searching for suspect after Huntington chase ends in crash

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. –Huntington Police are looking for a man Tuesday night who they say led police on a chase, crashed his vehicle, and then ran from the scene.

According to Cabell County dispatchers, police had tried to stop a man for a traffic stop around 8:30 p.m. on West 6th Street and Madison Avenue.

However, the man drove off and crashed on West 7th Street between Madison and Jefferson Avenue and then fled from the scene. Police are currently looking for him in a nearby residential neighborhood with K-9 officers.
